This workshop will be held the Friday before the Nov 2 OSTA (Oregon Science Teacher Association) workshop in Eugene. It aims to engage participants in the Patterns Physics’ Unit 3 project about engineering and design of a shoe. In the workshop, participants will actively engage key data collection and data discussion experiences to make data-informed decisions about a shoe design. Participants will be provided updates, highlights, and insights about the unit learning plan that targets NGSS performance expectations around force, impulse, and momentum.
We need a minimum registration of 5 teachers by Friday, October 25 is needed to run this workshop. If the workshop is canceled you will be notified on October 26. Teacher attendees will be paid 3 hours at $50/hour through the WRAP grant to attend this workshop. Registration is free.
