Student Discourse Part 1 - In this hands-on webinar, participants learned several talk strategies and protocols that will help them support student discourse in their classroom. We looked at specific places where these can be used in the Patterns curriculum. Teachers were asked to practice one of the protocols in their classroom between the Part 1 and Part 2  Webinars.  '

Student Discourse Part 2 -Participants were asked to reflect on their experience of trying a new talk strategy in their classroom. They also learned several new talk strategies and looked at a Talk Protocol Flowchart that will help them decide when to use a specific strategy.
